Ok folks, now something different but not less effective from us…. We have to confess a constantly growing fascination with dub-related tings coming from Bristol since couple of years by now, and as long as many of you are already aware of these (as you asked/and we work out) we thought there wasn’t better timing to start stocking something from the best acts in the game.
So, Seekersinternational to start with: easily the most enduring and mystical trio seen in recent times (experienced listeners will certainly remember their Digitalis LP from 2008, a unique blend of classic Rhythm & Sound templates and glitchy electronics). Recent ventures have brought them quite everywhere, developing a forward-thinking mix of dub, jungle and even spaghetti western/dancehall collage, not to mention their Warp debut deconstructing (in full) classic Red Snapper’s Prince Blimey.
Now comfortably back at their spiritual home(s) of Bokeh Version & No Corner, this time united to deliver the good, SKRS reinvent themselves again with a powerful four tracker of ghostly dub and synth science, placing itself somewhere Burial Mix, Horsepower Productions and the more recent abstract excursions of Equiknoxx on DDS.
We have a very limited amount of copies in stock, with printed sleeve designed by Mysteryforms and layout by Studio Tape-Echo/Mastered and cut by Lewis at Stardelta, Bristol.
